Probability Puzzle – 2 Shooters

The probability of a firer hitting the target is .9 and that of another is .8. If each of them fires a bullet, what is the probability of a hit.

    The probability of both missing = (1-.9)*(1-.8) = .02
    Probability of a simgle hit = 1-.02 = .98 = 98%
